Well, we are back from our holiday in Ireland.  We had a great time, although it did rain quite a bit and our tent wasn’t waterproof.  We didn’t let that put us off though, and armed with bin liners and DUCK tape we waterproofed the tent and slept in dry beds for the rest of the holiday.  It was wonderful to catch up with some of Karen’s Aunts and Uncles for the first time in about twelve years.

On our return home we discovered that Daniel had picked up a lovely stomach bug for us all to try.  Thankfully we took turns, every two days, two at a time!

We now have a week to catch up on odd jobs and start gearing up for Dad’s next academic year.
